Baseball Recap: Dundalk Starts Season with Defeat on the Road

Dundalk kicked off their season on the road on Friday and hit a couple of potholes. They fell 12-8 to the Patapsco Patriots. The Owls were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Patriots apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in May of 2022.

Wyatt Carr made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored two runs and stole a base while going 1-for-2. Franklin Tracey was another key player, going 2-for-3 with one stolen base and two RBI.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Dundalk will face off against Western Tech & Environmental Science at 4:00 p.m. on March 21st. As for Patapsco, they will take on Overlea at 4:00 p.m. on March 21st.
