In what's become a running theme this season, Gretna gave their fans yet another huge win on Tuesday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Lincoln High Links an 8-0 shutout. It was an even better day for Izzie Franks as she scored three goals for her team.
Gretna has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 11-5 record this season. As for Lincoln High, their loss dropped their record down to 6-11.
Gretna will be playing in front of their home fans against Bellevue West at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Bellevue West is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 4.7 goals per game this season. Lincoln High does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
