The King's Academy Knights earned a 2-0 win over the Summit Shasta Black Bears on Saturday. That looming 2-0 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Knights yet this season.

Trey Sherman paced King's Academy's offense, picking up 11 kills. Sherman got some help from Andronico Netto and his 25 assists. Finally, Jason Chi kept King's Academy's defense grounded, leading the team with three blocks.

King's Academy's victory bumped their record up to 4-13. As for Summit Shasta, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 10-10.

King's Academy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 win against Eastside College Prep on the 14th. As for Summit Shasta, they will head out to challenge Design Tech at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
