Orono and Dexter squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Orono had to settle for second. They took a 38-34 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Tigers. The Riots' defeat signaled the end of their six-game winning streak.

Despite the loss, Orono still got an impressive performance from Kason Bagley, who rushed for 100 yards on only 12 carries.

Orono's loss dropped their record down to 6-3. As for Dexter, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-3 record this season.

Orono does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Dexter, they have already played their next contest, a 64-8 defeat against Stearns on the 7th.
