Volleyball Recap: Punahou Continues Road Dominance on Friday

Punahou had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Hawaii Baptist Academy Eagles. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Buff n' Blue also won the last time the pair played back in April of 2024.

The final score came out to 25-17, 25-19, 18-25, 25-23.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Punahou to victory, but perhaps none more so than Cameron Porter, who had 20 kills, two blocks, and two aces. Ty Kikuchi was another key player, getting 30 assists and two aces.

Punahou pushed their record up to 3-0 with the victory, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Hawaii Baptist Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.

Punahou has already played their next contest, a 3-1 win against Mid-Pacific Institute on the 10th. Hawaii Baptist Academy has also already played their next match (against University Laboratory School), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
