Basketball Game Preview: Klein Forest Eagles vs. Klein Bearkats

Klein Forest hasn't had much luck against Klein recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Eagles will challenge the Bearkats at 7:00 p.m. Klein Forest has given up an average of 49.8 points per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Klein Forest is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They managed an 84-79 victory over Magnolia West on Tuesday. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Eagles as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

Meanwhile, Klein ended up a good deal behind Klein Cain on Tuesday and lost 43-25. While losing is never fun, the Bearkats can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 1055th, while the Hurricanes are ranked 418th).

Klein's loss dropped their record down to 4-22. As for Klein Forest, their victory bumped their record up to 10-14.

Klein Forest beat Klein 48-36 when the teams last played back in December of 2025. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Eagles since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
