Flag Football Game Preview: Alameda Hornets vs. Hayward Farmers + How To Watch

The Alameda Hornets will head out to face off against the Hayward Farmers at 7:45 p.m. on Thursday. Alameda's defense has only allowed 14.1 points per game this season, so Hayward's offense will have their work cut out for them.

Alameda is probably headed into the game with a chip on their shoulder considering San Ramon Valley just ended the team's four-game winning streak on Wednesday. They were just a hair shy of victory and fell 13-12 to the Wolves. Having soared to a lofty 33 points in the game before, the Hornets couldn't push the score so high this time.

Meanwhile, Hayward was beaten by Berkeley 36-6 on Tuesday. The defeat continues a trend for the Farmers in their meetings with the Yellowjackets: they've now lost four in a row.

Hayward's loss dropped their record down to 4-6. As for Alameda, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-6-1.

Everything came up roses for Alameda against Hayward in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, as the team secured a 51-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Hornets since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
