Brunswick extended their winning streak to seven games thanks to a huge performance from Heze Kent. The Brunswick Pirates secured a 71-66 W over the Hilton Head Island Seahawks on Friday thanks in part to Kent, who dropped a double-double on 20 points and 19 boards. He is on a roll when it comes to boards, as he's now pulled down ten or more in the last five games he's played.

Another player making a difference was Antwone Levros, who posted six points. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in assists (two).

Several Seahawks players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Kyrice Bowman, who went 8 of 15 on his way to 18 points and five rebounds. Tajae Wright was another key player, going 6 of 10 on his way to 15 points and five rebounds.

Brunswick pushed their record up to 7-0 with the victory, which was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 73.4 points per game. As for Hilton Head Island, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-3.

Brunswick wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 72-68 win against McIntosh County Academy on the 14th. As for Hilton Head Island, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 65-46 defeat against Benedictine on the 14th.
