Volleyball Recap: Ava Berry and Dakota Bourdon Secure Win for Norwich Free Academy

Norwich Free Academy's game on Saturday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They blew past the St. Bernard Saints 3-0.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Norwich Free Academy took every set by at least ten points. The final score came out to 25-15, 25-8, 25-9.

Norwich Free Academy was led to victory by Dakota Bourdon and Ava Berry. Bourdon had nine digs and six aces, while Berry had nine digs and one assist. Those six aces gave Bourdon a new career-high.

They weren't the only good servers: Norwich Free Academy was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 20 aces. That's the most aces they've managed all season.

Norwich Free Academy's win ended a three-match drought on the road and puts them at 10-8. As for St. Bernard, their loss dropped their record down to 0-4.

Coming up, Norwich Free Academy will be playing in front of their home fans against Bacon Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. St. Bernard does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
