Basketball Game Preview: Washington Bulldogs vs. Lovett Lions

Washington hasn't had much luck against Lovett recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Washington Bulldogs will look to defend their home court against the Lovett Lions at 6:00 p.m. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Having struggled with four defeats in a row, Washington turned things around against Carver on Friday. In a tight game that could have gone either way, they made off with a 31-30 win over the Panthers.

Meanwhile, Lovett waltzed into their contest on Friday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They pulled ahead with a 32-31 photo finish over the Hornets. The score was all tied up 10-10 at the break, but the Lions were the better team in the second half.

Lovett found their leader in freshman Riley Gallagher, who posted 14 points.

Lovett is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 11-5 record this season. As for Washington, they picked up their first home victory, bumping their record up to 4-11.
