Softball Recap: Oceanside Pirates vs. University City Centurions        
        
		
            
 In what's become a running theme this season, Oceanside gave their fans yet another huge  victory on Tuesday. They put the hurt on the University City Centurions with a sharp  14-5 win. The  victory was nothing new for Oceanside as they're now sitting on seven straight.
  Nayeli Adame spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered four earned  (and one unearned) runs on seven hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't  pitched less than seven  innings in three consecutive pitching appearances.
 At the plate,  the team  relied heavily on  Mikayla Poumele-Flores, who  fired off two  home runs, four  RBI,  and a  double while going 4-for-4. The team also got some help courtesy of  Nalia Nuanez, who  went 5-for-5 with five  RBI and a  run.
 On University City's side,  Alyssa Castillo made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and  went 1-for-3 with a  home run and two  RBI. Another player making a difference was  Addy Weathers, who  scored a  run and  stole a base while going 2-for-4.
 Oceanside is  on a roll lately: they've  won nine of their last ten matches,  which provided a nice bump to their 17-5-1 record  this season. As for University City, they dropped their record down to 11-15-1 with that  defeat, which was their seventh straight  on the road.
 As of now, neither Oceanside nor University City have any future games scheduled.
