Magnolia has gone a perfect 3-0 against Santiago recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Sentinels will head out on the road to face off against the Cavaliers at 3:30 p.m. Magnolia has now lost seven straight, leaving the team hunting for their first win since March 27.

Last Thursday, Magnolia came up short against Savanna and fell 3-1.

Magnolia couldn't get the win, but they sure gave Savanna a tough time in the fourth set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 23-25, 25-22, 25-19, 30-28.

S. Rodriguez put forth a good effort for the losing side as he had 18 digs and one assist.

Meanwhile, Santiago posted their closest victory since March 2, 2024 on Thursday. They narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past Century 3-2.

It was an exciting match in which no team won back-to-back sets, but at the end of the day Santiago got the one that really mattered. The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 0-25, 25-0, 0-25, 16-14.

Santiago's victory bumped their record up to 3-10. As for Magnolia, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-19.

Magnolia took their win against Santiago in their previous matchup back in March by a conclusive 3-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Sentinels since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
