Washington Catholic kept up with Eastern Greene until halftime on Tuesday, but afterwards: not so much. The Thunderbirds never let the Cardinals get on the board and left with a 3-0 victory. Considering Eastern Greene have won five contests by more than two goals this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Griff Hengeveld and Ethan Moffitt scored all three of Eastern Greene's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 16 goals.

Eastern Greene has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-2-2 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 16 goals over those four games. As for Washington Catholic, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-7-1.

Looking ahead, Eastern Greene is taking a road trip to square off against North Knox at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Washington Catholic, they will look to defend their home pitch on Thursday against Sullivan at 5:00 p.m.
