La Salle is a perfect 3-0 against Providence since May of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The La Salle Lancers will face off against the Providence Pioneers at 7:00 p.m. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

La Salle is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Wednesday. They strolled past Salesian with points to spare, taking the game 54-36.

Meanwhile, Providence waltzed into their game on Wednesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They put the hurt on the Wildcats with a sharp 64-41 win.

La Salle has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a massive bump to their 11-17 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 55.2 points over those games. As for Providence, they now have a winning record of 13-12.

La Salle strolled past Providence in their previous matchup back in December of 2023 by a score of 48-33. The rematch might be a little tougher for La Salle since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
