Baseball Recap: McBain Comes Up Short

McBain lost to St. Francis on Thursday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Ramblers took a 7-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Gladiators. The Ramblers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

McBain saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kasen Pollington, who went 1-for-2 with two RBI.

McBain's loss dropped their record down to 8-5. As for St. Francis, the win (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 11-1.

Looking ahead, McBain will head out on the road to square off against Manton at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for St. Francis, they will take on Traverse City Christian at 4:15 p.m. on Monday.
