Baseball Recap: Columbia Takes a Loss

Columbia was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 16th straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against the Mid-Carolina Rebels, falling 16-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Capitals of the 13-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2016.

Columbia's defeat dropped their record down to 0-13. As for Mid-Carolina, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 13-5.

While Columbia had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
