Football Recap: Cross Starts Season with Victory Against Calhoun County

Cross took care of business in their home opener (and then some) on Saturday. They breezed past the Calhoun County Saints to the tune of 32-0. The Trojans have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Saints, too.

Mah'Ky Green went supernova, rushing for 84 yards and one score on only ten carries.

Cross didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Jakari Wright and Caden Ramsey.

Cross has already played their next game, a 37-6 victory against North Charleston on the 29th. As for Calhoun County, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 38-7 defeat against Lake Marion on the 29th.
