Fruita Monument's defense heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. Everything went their way against Pagosa Springs as they made off with a 10-0 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for Fruita Monument.

Meanwhile, Durango entered their tilt with Grand Junction Central on Thursday with ten consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with 11. They blew past the Warriors 10-0. Durango's defense has been rock solid lately; the team hasn't given up a goal in their last three matchups.

Their offense was hitting Grand Junction Central from everywhere, as six different players booted in a goal. Josephine Phare led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for four goals all by herself.

Durango's win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-3. The home victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 21 goals over those five games. As for Fruita Monument, their win bumped their record up to 8-3-3.
