Volleyball Game Preview: Holy Ghost Prep Firebirds vs. Archbishop Ryan Raiders

The Holy Ghost Prep Firebirds are taking a road trip to challenge the Archbishop Ryan Raiders at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Archbishop Ryan took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Holy Ghost Prep, who comes in off a win.

On Monday, Holy Ghost Prep made easy work of MAST Charter II and carried off a 3-0 win.

While Holy Ghost Prep won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the third set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-9, 25-22.

Meanwhile, Archbishop Ryan was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 3-0 to La Salle College.

Holy Ghost Prep is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 4-3 record this season. As for Archbishop Ryan, their loss dropped their record down to 0-3.
