Baseball Recap: Boyd County Extends Road Winning Streak to Four

Boyd County barely beat Prestonsburg the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Lions blew past the Blackcats 11-5 on Friday. The Lions haven't had any issues with the Blackcats recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

Boyd County's win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 11-3. Those road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.8 runs on average over those games. As for Prestonsburg, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last eight matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-10 record this season.
