Baseball Preview: Prosser Mustangs vs. East Valley Red Devils

Jaxon Byerlein and Brock Goodell dominated on the mound. Byerlein struck out seven batters over three innings while giving up just one earned run off five hits (and not a single walk), while Goodell pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits.
At the plate, Blake Gibbons was incredible, going a perfect 4-for-4 with six RBI, three runs, and three doubles. The team also got some help courtesy of Andrew McDaniel, who went 3-for-4 with three runs, one stolen base, and one double.
East Valley always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .538. That was just more of the same: they've now posted an OBP of .533 or higher in three consecutive contests.
East Valley's win bumped their record up to 7-1. As for Prosser, their loss dropped their record down to 2-5.
