Soccer Recap: Geneva Comes Up Short

On Thursday, the Geneva Panthers didn't have quite enough to beat the Bullock County Hornets and fell 4-3. That's two games in a row now that the Panthers have lost by just one goal.

This is the second loss in a row for Geneva and nudges their season record down to 0-2. That patch can't be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored six goals over those two matches. As for Bullock County, their victory bumped their record up to 2-0.

Coming up, Geneva will host Pike County at 5:00 p.m. on March 14th. As for Bullock County, they will be defending their home pitch for the first time this season when they go up against Park Crossing at 7:00 p.m. on March 14th.
