Wirt County had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Monday. They never let the Hannan Wildcats get on the board and left with a 15-0 win. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Tigers considering their two-run performance the match before.
Adi Smith made a splash while hitting and pitching. She struck out eight batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits (and not a single walk). She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and one stolen base.
In other batting news, Wirt County got a massive performance out of Kinsley Nicolais, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with two stolen bases, three runs, and two RBI. Kylee Ross was another key player, going 2-for-3 with three stolen bases, three RBI, and one run.
