Volleyball Recap: Kaylie Church Key Part of Team Effort in Spartans Win

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Holmen, Sparta was happy to have turned things around on Wednesday. They came out on top against the Bangor Cardinals by a score of 2-0.

Sparta's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Kaylie Church led the charge by getting four digs and two aces. Those two aces gave Church a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Addison Kent, who had ten digs and two aces.

The victory got Sparta back to even at 1-1. As for Bangor, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

Sparta didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-1 win against Cumberland on the 27th. As for Bangor, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 2-0 defeat against Stratford on the 27th.
