Basketball Recap: Bradwell Institute Makes It Seven in a Row at Home + How To Watch

You can't lose the game if you win every quarter, and that was precisely Bradwell Institute's strategy against Lowndes on Friday. The Tigers walked away with a 49-38 win over the Vikings. Those 49 points were actually the fewest the Tigers have put up all season, but given the result they're probably not too concerned.

Bradwell Institute got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Destini McLemore out in front who went 7-for-14 to rack up 17 points along with six rebounds and five steals. McLemore is crushing it when it comes to steals: she's grabbed at least two every time she's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Jamia Ousley, who shot 55% from the field on her way to 18 points and six steals.

Bradwell Institute was working as a unit and finished the game with 15 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Lowndes only racked up nine.

When it comes to explaining why Lowndes lost, don't look at Kayla Jackson. Despite the final result, she dropped a double-double with 21 points and ten boards. With that strong performance, Jackson is now averaging an impressive 15.2 points per game. Another player making a difference was Bryana Thomas, who posted nine points and three steals.
