Volleyball Recap: Five Straight Road Victories for Forest

Forest entered their tilt with Lake Weir on Monday with two consecutive wins , and they'll enter their next game with three. They blew past the Lake Weir Hurricanes 3-0. The Wildcats have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Hurricanes, too.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-10, 25-18, 25-14.

Jeremy Croft paced Forest's offense, picking up 14 kills. Croft got some help from Xavier Sahajpal and his 16 assists. Sahajpal was also solid from the service line: he led the team with four aces.

Forest's victory was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 3-0. As for Lake Weir, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Forest will square off against Spruce Creek at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Lake Weir, they will take on Dunnellon at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
