Basketball Recap: Haldane Takes a Loss

If Haldane was riding high fresh off their 50-18 takedown of Keio Academy of N.Y. last Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Haldane Blue Devils came up short against the Lakeland Hornets on Saturday, falling 52-30. The Blue Devils haven't had much luck with the Hornets recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.

Haldane's loss dropped their record down to 4-12. As for Lakeland, their win ended a seven-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-7.

Haldane didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 54-51 defeat against Briarcliff on the 10th. Lakeland does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
