Softball Recap: Olympic Trojans vs. Peninsula Seahawks
Olympic proved they can win big last Tuesday (they won by 27) and on Wednesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They had just enough and edged out the Peninsula Seahawks 4-3. The victory was nothing new for the Trojans as they're now sitting on three straight.
Brenda Morrison spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three runs (all of which were unearned) on two hits and racked up six Ks. She has been consistent : she hasn't given up more than one walk in five consecutive appearances.
On the hitting side, Kennedy Haas was incredible, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-4. She also launched a home run, marking her first of the season. Beya Richmond was another key player, scoring a run while going 2-for-4.
