Altavista has been on a difficult stretch since their win on April 25. They fell just short of the Galileo Falcons by a score of 2-1 on Thursday. Altavista were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced Galileo earlier this season, when they won 3-2.

Altavista's defeat dropped their record down to 4-10-3. As for Galileo, with the victory, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 3-11-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Altavista will host Chatham at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Chatham will roll in looking for their seventh straight win, something Altavista surely won't give up without a fight. As for Galileo, they will welcome Dan River at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Galileo are facing Dan River at the right time seeing as Dan River are stuck on a five-game losing streak.
