Meanwhile, Tranquillity was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They came up short against Dos Palos, falling 39-18. The Tigers were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 27-5.

Coalinga's defeat ended a 12-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 17-3. As for Tranquillity, their loss dropped their record down to 4-15.

Everything came up roses for Coalinga against Tranquillity in their previous matchup back in February of 2024, as the team secured a 65-11 victory. Will Coalinga repeat their success, or does Tranquillity have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
