Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Morgan walked away with it. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Grantsville Cowboys on Thursday, sneaking past 3-2. The win was familiar territory for the Trojans, who have now won ten games in a row.

Jack Komenda paced Morgan's offense, picking up 20 kills. Komenda got some help from Caleb Stephens and his 53 assists. Finally, David Thomsen kept Morgan's defense grounded, leading the team with six blocks.

Despite the loss, Grantsville still got an impressive performance from Tyse Fuentes, who had 19 digs and one assist. With that strong performance, Fuentes is now averaging an impressive 10.1 digs per game. Zachary Powell also deserves some recognition as he had his first kill of the season.

Morgan's victory bumped their record up to 23-8. As for Grantsville, the loss snapped their winning streak at eight games and leaves them with a 16-16 record.

As of now, neither Morgan nor the Cowboys have any future games scheduled.
