Volleyball Game Preview: Esko Eskomos vs. Duluth East Greyhounds

For the second straight game, Esko will face off against Duluth East. The Eskomos will be playing at home against the Greyhounds at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.

Esko is probably headed into the match with a chip on their shoulder considering Duluth East just ended the team's 11-match winning streak on Saturday. They fell just short of the Greyhounds by a score of 2-1. Eskomos fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team has lost against the Greyhounds since Saturday.

Esko better focus on containing Evelyn Viney and Bella Peterson as the pair were huge in Duluth East's win. Viney had 11 digs and one block, while Peterson had five digs. That's the most digs Peterson has posted over her last 12 matchups.

The victory was the seventh in a row for Duluth East, bringing their record up to 14-5. As for Esko, their loss dropped their record down to 12-2.
