Soccer Recap: Five Straight Road Wins for Giddings

Giddings won the last time they faced Caldwell and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Giddings Buffaloes never let the Caldwell Hornets get on the board and left with an 8-0 victory. It was an even better day for Audrey Nicks as she scored three goals for her team.

Giddings' win was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 9-5. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those five contests. As for Caldwell, they are on an 11-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-11.

Looking ahead, Giddings will host Taylor at 7:15 p.m. on Monday. Taylor will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Giddings surely won't give up without a fight. As for Caldwell, they didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next game, a 5-0 loss against Manor New Tech on the 21st.
