Soccer Recap: Sharpsville Comes Up Short

Sharpsville lost against Karns City on September 4th and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Blue Devils lost 4-1 to the Gremlins. Things were pretty much settled by the half as Sharpsville were already down 4-0.

Their goal came courtesy of Hunter Capperes, who's now up to eight this season.

Sharpsville has been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-7-1 record this season. As for Karns City, their win bumped their record up to 5-7.

Sharpsville wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next contest, a 7-1 victory against Commodore Perry on the 30th. As for Karns City, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against Punxsutawney on the 30th.
