Volleyball Recap: Albany Beats Sauk Centre for Their 12th Straight Victory

Albany extended their postseason success on Thursday against Sauk Centre. They skirted past the Sauk Centre Mainstreeters 3-2. The Huskies are really starting to get used to good results now that the team has won 12 straight.

Albany took Sauk Centre into a fifth set where they got it done with a four-point win. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 16-25, 25-22, 25-14, 16-25, 15-11.

Hannah Klein paced Albany's offense, picking up 19 kills. Klein got some help from Ellery Ehresmann and her 49 assists. Klein was also solid from the service line: she led the team with eight aces.

Albany's win bumped their record up to 28-2. As for Sauk Centre, their loss dropped their record down to 19-6.
