Volleyball Recap: Franklin Falls Despite Big Games from Natalia Florendo and Karen Castro

Franklin's tournament run continued when they took on Encinal on Saturday. The Yellowjackets took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Jets. The Yellowjackets have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 25-15.

Despite the loss, Franklin had strong showings from Karen Castro, who had 13 digs, and Natalia Florendo, who had four aces.

Franklin's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Franklin has already played their next contest, a 2-1 victory against Venture Academy on the 23rd. As for Encinal, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-1 loss against Bethel on the 23rd.
