Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Sweet Springs). They walked away with a 36-27 victory over the Wellington-Napoleon Tigers on Tuesday. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Greyhounds as it put an end to their four-game losing streak.

Wellington-Napoleon's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Ayden Ellensohn, who posted five points. Kale Garland also deserves some recognition as she posted her first block of the season.

Sweet Springs' victory bumped their record up to 2-7. As for Wellington-Napoleon, this is the second loss in a row for them and also nudges their season record down to 2-7.

Sweet Springs has already played their next match (against Norborne), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Wellington-Napoleon will challenge Varsity Opponent at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
