Soccer Recap: North Stanly Takes a Loss

North Stanly lost against Mount Pleasant two weeks ago, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Comets lost 6-1 to the Tigers. North Stanly have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Their goal came courtesy of Larson Drye, which was the first she's scored this season.

North Stanly's defeat dropped their record down to 3-13-1. As for Mount Pleasant, their win bumped their record up to 10-4-2.

Looking ahead, North Stanly will square off against Albemarle at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Mount Pleasant, they will face off against West Cabarrus at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Mount Pleasant are facing West Cabarrus at the right time seeing as West Cabarrus are stuck on a seven-game losing streak.
