Softball Recap: Central A & M Comes Up Short

Central A & M was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They lost 17-7 to the LeRoy Panthers. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Raiders of the 3-1 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in March of 2024.

Lyndi Woods was cooking despite her team's loss, scoring a run and stealing two bases while going 3-for-4. Kayla McPeek was another key player, going 1-for-4 with one triple, two RBI, and one run.

Central A & M now has a losing record of 4-5. As for LeRoy, the win was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record up to 7-1.

While Central A & M had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
