East Ascension won the last time they faced Ascension Catholic and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Spartans put the hurt on the Bulldogs with a sharp 12-2 win. The Spartans might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six games by eight runs or more this season.

East Ascension's victory ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 13-7. As for Ascension Catholic, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 15-10.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. East Ascension will welcome Dutchtown at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Ascension Catholic, they will take on St. Mary's Dominican at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
