Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Shipley). Everything went their way against Germantown Friends on Thursday as they made off with a 14-4 victory. Shipley has beaten Germantown Friends the last six times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest Germantown Friends has come to flipping the script.

Shipley pushed their record up to 5-2 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home. Those home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.0 runs on average over those games. As for Germantown Friends, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-5.
