Wren entered their tilt with Emerald on Thursday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They never let the Vikings get on the board and left with a 5-0 victory. Wren's defense has been rock solid lately; the team hasn't given up a goal in their last three matchups.

Wren's win bumped their record up to 8-5. As for Emerald, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-7.

Looking ahead, Wren will host Woodmont at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Wren will be up against Woodmont's rather soft defense (which has allowed three goals per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Emerald, they will head out on the road to square off against Fountain Inn at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Emerald's defense better be ready for this one: Fountain Inn have averaged an impressive 2.5 goals per game this season.
