Soccer Recap: North Port Comes Up Short

Tuesday just wasn't the day for North Port's offense. They fell 2-0 to the Berkeley Prep Buccaneers on Tuesday. While losing is never fun, the Bobcats can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Florida soccer rankings (they are ranked 274th, while the Buccaneers are ranked 107th).

North Port dropped their record down to 5-6 with the loss, which was their fifth straight on the road. As for Berkeley Prep, their win bumped their record up to 8-4-3.

North Port will venture away from home to challenge Neumann at 7:00 p.m. on January 15th. Berkeley Prep has already played their next game, a 2-1 defeat against Palm Harbor University on the 10th.
