Recap: Boone Grove Wolves vs. Hanover Central Wildcats
The Boone Grove Wolves lost against the Hanover Central Wildcats back in February of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. Boone Grove took a 64-46 bruising from Hanover Central.
When it comes to explaining why Boone Grove lost, one person who can't be blamed is Jack Stevens. Despite the final result, he scored 23 points along with two steals. Stevens hasn't dropped below 18 points for five straight games. Andrew Batesole was another key contributor, scoring nine points along with seven assists.
Boone Grove now has a losing record at 9-10. As for Hanover Central, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 9-9 record this season.
Boone Grove will head out on the road to take on Calumet New Tech at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are closely ranked in Indiana (Calumet New Tech is ranked 347th, while Boone Grove is ranked 343rd). As for Hanover Central, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Kouts at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
