Volleyball Recap: Make It Three in a Row for Grandview

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Grandview had no problem doing just that on Saturday. They put the hurt on the Legacy Lightning with a sharp 3-0 victory. Winning may never get old, but the Wolves sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Grandview not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Legacy between 17 and 20 points across their sets. The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-17, 25-19.

Among those leading the charge was Reese Dixon, who had nine digs and two assists.

Grandview's win bumped their record up to 22-7. As for Legacy, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 23-5.

Grandview wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 3-2 defeat against Eaglecrest on the 10th. Legacy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
