Football Game Preview: East Central Cardinals vs. Coweta Tigers + How To Watch

East Central is 1-8 against Coweta since October of 2015 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Cardinals will look to defend their home field against the Tigers at 7:00 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

East Central's offense might be in the hot seat on Friday considering what happened against Edison on Thursday. They took a blow against the Eagles, falling 28-0. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last four times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Meanwhile, Coweta ended up a good deal behind Booker T. Washington on Thursday and lost 38-20. The matchup marked the Tigers' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Coweta fell to 8-1. As for East Central, their loss dropped their record down to 1-8.

East Central came out on top in a nail-biter against Coweta in their previous matchup back in November of 2024, sneaking past 28-25. Will the Cardinals repeat their success, or do the Tigers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
