Oak Forest Academy waltzed into their matchup on Sunday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They put the hurt on the Adams County Christian Rebels with a sharp 13-1 win. Considering the Yellowjackets have won 16 contests by more than five runs this season, Sunday's blowout was nothing new.

Kaul Perkins and Kade Perkins did most of the damage at the plate: Kaul got on base in all four of his plate appearances with one home run, three RBI, and one double, while Kade went 1-for-2 with three runs, three RBI, and one stolen base. Those three RBI gave Kade a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Keegan Kelsey, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.

Oak Forest Academy always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .667. That was just more of the same: they've now posted an OBP of .514 or higher in three consecutive games.

Oak Forest Academy's victory was their ninth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 21-4. Those home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.9 runs on average over those games.
