Baseball Recap: Trinity Takes a Loss

Trinity was the 4-2 winner over Hancock County when they last played one another back in March, but their luck changed this time around. The Raiders fell just short of the Hornets by a score of 4-3 on Thursday. The Raiders have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Trinity saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kayin Howard, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI, one run, and one double.

Trinity's defeat dropped their record down to 10-10. As for Hancock County, their victory ended a nine-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 6-17.

Trinity didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 15-0 win against Caverna on the 1st. As for Hancock County, they have also already played their next contest, a 12-3 victory against Hopkins County Central on the 1st.
