Soccer Recap: Gresham Community Comes Up Short

Gresham Community was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They lost 7-0 to the Amherst Falcons. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Amherst this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 8-0 back in September.

Gresham Community's loss dropped their record down to 0-16-1. As for Amherst, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 12-2-2.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Gresham Community is set to take on their familiar foe Newman Catholic at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Amherst will square off against rival Columbus Catholic at 7:15 p.m. on Monday.
