Basketball Recap: Harrison Central Now 8-2 over Last Ten Games

If Buckeye Local wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Harrison Central, they should've done a better job of containing Lauren Doane. The Harrison Central Huskies simply couldn't be stopped on Thursday as they easily beat the Buckeye Local Panthers 52-19 thanks in part to Doane, who dropped a double-double on 21 points and 14 boards. The dominant performance gave her a new career-high in points.

Harrison Central is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last ten contests, which provided a nice bump to their 12-5 record this season. As for Buckeye Local, they dropped their record down to 2-14 with the defeat, which was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Coincidentally, both will both be playing Brooke the next time they take the court. Harrison Central will host Brooke at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, while Buckeye Local will head out to face them at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
